Hatred's Too Easy (w/lyrics &back story!)

Dear Friends,

Please enjoy my original song "Hatred's Too Easy" ( which seems appropriate in light of recent events in Orlando, Florida.
I wrote this song when inspired by Catie Curtis's "Radical" about just loving her partner, not trying to be a Lesbian activist about it. Love, just love for the sake of love, not politics.
In this song, I write about love between someone of a different age or race as well as of the same sex - all scenarios of which, having dated older men, people not of my race, and of my same sex, I identify.
Although the song first appeared on my 2004 recording live at the kraftbrau, kalamazoo!, this version is from my 2015 recording Hope.
The voice and guitar are performed by myself. The percussion is performed by my brother, Giscard Xavier aka GIZ, who also was the recording engineer and co-producer of the album.
 Please enjoy!

Trivia: Most of my $$ from music these days comes from Spotify. So if you're buying downloads, do swing on by ;)

Also, I recently discovered that when I BCC my messages, they end up in my Spam folder. So, please check yours in case ya missed something'.
Also, I've been updating my Inspiration Line message a least twice a day. I do hope you'll call sometime - it's free, it's 24 hours, and it's inspirational, at least to me, when I post :) 215-552-8850

Hatred's Too Easy (C.Xavier) 6:41

[x4] Oo-ooh wah-ah
Moonlight and angelfire
Glow in your eyes tonight
I hope that we don't fight
Why must we always
Father does not approve
Friends are supportive
And Mother will tolerate
As long as we're happy

[x4] Oo-ooh wah-ah
We look at differences
We listen for accents
We read the words are called
But what's in a name
We seem a lot alike
More often we're different
I think we would even fight
If we all looked the same
Walking through the mire
Knees deep in falseness
We don't seem to ever tire
When we walk together
Patience is difficult
Silence is golden
And anger's not always bad
But hatred's too easy
Oo-ooh wah-ah...

Make yourself a beautiful day!
