I saw a Black woman running in the literally freezing cold. She had athletic wear on and earbuds in, and when I called out, "You inspire me!" to her as she ran by me, she didn't respond. Either she didn't hear me or she didn't care to respond, the latter of which I also didn't mind because I realized she's not running for me. She's running for herself, and that's awesome! When you're doing something good for yourself, you don't need anyone's accolades. The rewards from the self-care are enough! <3
Make yourself a beautiful day!
