Call for Submissions: Women's Writing & Spoken Word Series (Mt. Airy/University City)

Do you write articles, poetry, fiction, nonfiction, journal, keep a diary? If you have, or haven't and would like to, we'd like to invite you to submit your work for consideration of a featured reading at the Women's Writing & Spoken Word Series!
A project of the Moonstone arts organization, the Women's Writing & Spoken Word Series (Est. 2002) is "a nurturing environment that celebrates women in the craft of multi-genre writing". The Series is free and open to the public, features 2 readers at 20 minutes each, is hosted by founder/curator Cassendre Xavier, and always includes a Mixed-Gender Open Mic!

NEW! Because of our new regional, multi-venue focus, we are particularly seeking writers from the neighborhoods and communities of our venues, which right now are in Mt. Airy and University City, but women writers from any area are welcome to feature. All women writers at all levels of accomplishment are encouraged to apply!

For submissions information, or to subscribe to and have your event/service listed in the free Series newsletter, or for other information, please contact us:
