10:30am – 4 dried apricots, 2 prunes
5:45pm – 28oz. soy protein shake (1 pint 2% milk, 2 packets stevia, a little organic molasses, 3 scoops Trader Joe's Soy Protein Powder)
6:00pm-7:00pm – 1 hardboiled egg, 1 can water-packed sardines, raw spinach, turmeric, white vinegar, onion powder, extra sharp cheddar cheese (orange, which I don't like as much as white, which is exactly why I bought orange, so that I don't eat a humyn baby arm-sized block of the stuff. For example. Just for starters.), dark chocolate
No supplements when I consume protein shake, which is very rich in vitamins, minerals, amino acids, etc.
COOKED FOOD I ENJOYED TODAY AND WHY
Sardines: They were salty, meaty, satisfying, tasty, and rich in Omega 3s. Soy protein shake: Sooo delicious!
No EVOO, because of the fats in cheese and chocolate.
EMOTIONAL FOOD: AFFECTIONATE TEXTS
I'm reminded there are many different kinds of sustenance ("food"), and recently affectionate text messages from a sweetie really helped fulfill, sustain, and get me through some challenging moments. It's lovely to feel fuller in life, without needing to fill my belly with food.
HOW THE LIVING PLANTS HELPED MY DIET AND LIFESTYLE TODAY
The spinach felt good to eat. It nourished and grounded me. The living plants were my go-to today to remain calm and joyful. They told me to relax, not worry, everything will work out. They helped me see beyond people, quirks, but their more subtle communications, nonverbal. They helped me to use my common sense. They showed me that I have many spirit guides and strongly encouraged me to spend some of my time with and learn and call upon them as a big part of my spirituality.
HOW THE ANGELS HELPED MY DIET AND LIFESTYLE TODAY
They showed me how much I am attracted and empowered by chlorophyll. They showed me the importance of convenience. They said, "The only produce that helps you is the one(s) you actually eat."
I had spinach languishing for days because the necessary rinsing was prohibitive to me. Celery, on the other hand, is much easier. Therefore, I will begin stocking more celery, or equally easy Romaine lettuce. But this spinach thing really isn't working for me. The living plants really want me to consume them.
WHY I LISTED THE LIVING PLANTS BEFORE ANGELS
Because while the angels can help with every aspect of life, I have found that raw foods (what I call the living plants) provide the most immediate physical changes I've needed in my recovery from food addiction and obesity. But the problem for me was that raw foods created changes in my body that were too rapid for me to handle as a survivor of child sexual abuse, and as a persun living with Bipolar Disorder. My body would start shrinking too fast, too soon, and I wasn't sophisticated or knowledgeable enough with raw foods to know which ones to eat that wouldn't throw me into a manic episode. Raw vegan foods are very high vibration and while that is wonderful for eradicating symptoms of depression, a diet too high in sweet or even non-sweet foods, without enough greens or grounding root vegetables, can create havoc in a person with BPD.
What I've found is that raw foods plus angel spirituality have helped me the most in dealing with these issues. After decades of dieting and exploring various paths of spirituality, I now believe that a diet rich in raw vegan foods, plus healthy, whole cooked foods (macrobiotics are an excellent example and a personal favorite of mine for various reasons) plus the powerful, nondenominational and effective assistance of God's angelic helpers, can be instrumental to anyone seeking to heal their body, empower their spirits, recover and reclaim their lives.
