Program of the Black Women's Arts Festival (In progress!)

Dear Friends!

Here is a schedule update on who's doin' what when this weekend!

Please note:

Times and event titles are subject to change slightly, and each event may start a little bit later or a little bit later :)
 And, just because you don't see a particular event here (especially a visual/fine artist or vendor) doesn't mean it's not going to happen!


10:00am - Empowring Affirmations Yoga with Cassendre Xavier
10:00am - Atiyah Ola Spirit First Foods vendor arrives and sets up!
11:00am - Workshop: Messages from Your Guardian Angels & Ancestor/Spirit Guides with Kai R. Oceans and Amethyste Rah
12:00pm - Lecture: The AMAZING Benefits of Raw Foods with Dr. Sunlight Little
1:30pm - Lecture: Sharai Robbin, bestelling ZANE/Simon & Schuster author of Candace Reign
2:00pm - Lecture: Stella Whiteman, author of sci-fi novel Control, Alter, Delete
2:30pm - Lecture: Rorie Still, sci-fi author
3:00pm -Krista Nelson, author of several books
4:00pm - Workshop: Indie Self-Publishing with CreateSpace (Amazon's Self-Publishing Platform), with panelists Sharai Robin, Stella Whiteman, Rorie Still, and Krista Nelson
5:00pm - China White arrives to host!
7:00pm - Jennifer Bennett shows three (3) of her films!
8:00pm - Monica McIntyre arrives to sing her original songs and play amazing cello!


10:00am - Atiya Ola's Spirit First Foods Arrives and sets up!
10:30am - Workshop: Attracting Your Soulmate, with Kai R. Oceans and Cassendre Xavier
12:00pm - Lecture: Nurturing the Creative Child, with Utausha Laster
1:00pm - Workshop: Yoga & Creative Writing, with Tracey Coretta Ferdinand, MA
3:00 - Lecture: Holistic Health, with Dr. Sunlight Little
3:30pm - Lecture: You Are Your Ancestors' Dream, with China White
4:00pm - China White hosts the rest of the evening!
4:30pm - Tamara L. Xavier, Ph.D (aka Moon Wisdom) arrives to dance her original choregraphy!
9:00pm - O performs the Ceremony to Honor Our Ancestors and Elders

Between those time spaces on both days are: Vendors/Marketplace (including Dr. Sunlight Little's reflexology), and All-People's Open Mic!

Oh, and I, Cassendre, will also read my writing and sing my songs and play my guitar, you know - the usual! I just haven't figured out yet where I'm going to do that... But I'll be doing that, don't you frettify (aka "fretterate")!
