I'm happy to announce the next featured reader at The Women's Writing & Spoken Word Series... Natalie C. Felix!

ABOUT NATALIE:
Natalie C. Felix describes herself as "a timeless being, and creative child of God, poetess, wife, mom, star child extraordinaire. Through her various projects, she builds community in Philadelphia through the arts, and has performed her spoken word poetry in many venues including The Women's Writing & Spoken Word Series previously. Natalie, a California transplant whose writing has cosmic sensibilities says, "So much Beauty in the Uni-Verse. Prayin 4 Hue-manity to get It Together." The Women's Writing & Spoken Word Series (est. 2002) is a nurturing environment that celebrates women in the craft of multi-genre writing. It was founded, and is curated and hosted by Leeway Transformation Award-Winning community cultural artist and organizer Cassendre Xavier. (Previous curators include Sherella Gibbs and Louise Bierig). The Series is free and includes mixed-gender open mic and Q&A with featured readers.
