ABOUT KRISTA
Krista Nelson, single mother of five, grew up in West Mt. Airy and continues to live in Philadelphia, PA. She is an author and dream life coach at Just Get It Done Now! showing her clients how to journal for success.
After a lifetime of journaling and studying motivational theories, Krista wrote Create Your Dream Life in 6 Steps or Less. Her daughter, Suite-River, inspired her to write this book after River used the combination of journaling and the law of attraction with amazing results. She has produced two companion pieces - a workbook to walk readers through each of the six steps and a blank journal for capturing your dream life.
Krista is a featured author in the 31st annual Celebration of Black Writing sponsored by The Art Sanctuary. Her first book, My Secret Barack: Crowning The King, is a memoir of her experience attending the 2009 presidential inauguration of Barack Obama after becoming a delegate to the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Krista is also a naturalist photographer, book designer, and member of the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association.
She has a background in advertising and marketing and has a BA in Journalism and an MA in Information Systems Management.
