EATINGS (The Process of Putting Things Into the Top Part of My Corporeal Reggione)

Friday, August 30, 2013

10:30pm – 1 handful kale, 2 handfuls spinach, 1 tomato, 1 peeled cucumber, fat-free salad dressing. Difficult to chew greens slowly, because savory foods are my trigger as a food addict. Ate 2/3 of it. Stored the rest. 2 big ol' rip mangoes for dessert, the first of which, when I cut into it, made me believe in my birthright of prosperity again. Surely, the One who created this wants me loved and happy as *Ben Franklin was by his beer. (*Trivia: Ben Franklin said, "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.")

I finished the little bit of salad from last night (see above reggione). Then made more of the same recipe: 1 handful kale, 2 handfuls spinach, 1 tomato, 1 peeled cucumber, fat-free salad dressing. 2 mangoes for dessert. I could've eaten a 3rd but I felt quite full. That's progress, as an overeater who usually doesn't stop until there's pain involved.

ELIMINATION STATION (The Goings on of My Innards Inasmuch as They Are Affected by My Eatings)

Constipation without representation. But not as bad as has been in the case of eating cooked foods as I'm dehydrated by the medications I'm on. This is because in eating an almost 100% raw vegan diet in the last few days, I'm taking in more water and fiber naturally.

With raw vegan foods comes clearer thinking, and better health all around, including financial health. Another thing that happens is more synchronicity, and the miracles that come from right action. Raw vegan foods help me take care of the kingdom that is my body. And when this happens, everything else falls into place.

LOVE, SEX, AND ROMANCE (or as my friend Valerie Coverdale says, "Love, Sex, and Getting it In!")

After my Tom died in March, I kinda died, too. But I'm waking up now, and so are other parts of me, including the need to create. The second chakra, the orange one below our navels, are where sexuality and creativity live. The fact that I'm interested now in, and yearning for, more creative output, in particular with my writing (although the music is growing, too...), means that the other part of Chakra Number Two is alivening as well. This means I'm taking care to oil my body just for myself. It doesn't mean I'm replying to personal ads. But it does mean I've been reading them for weeks, and putting my vibe out there in real time for some companionship and high quality bootknockery. Ya heard? :-)

Gotta go now. There are some people at Philadelphia's Pagan Pride Day in Clark Park who are waiting to see me in my coral beauty. And the people they must not be kept waiting!

Love from my self to thyself, and as always, thanks to the living plants and where they come from. For more about me doing raw vegan stuff, including blenders and juicers and whatnot, visit my YouTube channel at Never let it be said!

Being Creative Somehow is Better Than Being Creative No-How

To other multi-media (healing) artists - you may not always be immediately able to do the work you want to do the way you want to do it. All resources may not be present, from equipment to funds to pay collaborators to travel to be at your dream location in which to do a certain project. But, being multi-media-oriented, you have a gift. You can always use one of your other disciplines. While I dream and plan my next musical project, I write self-help articles, and I post incessantly on The Facebook things that help me to get by, hoping they help you, too. I'm blessed to be able to write this way, and it's a great gift to me as well. Perhaps you are an actor between roles: you can do monologues at spoken word open mics and poetry slams - there doesn't always have to be a camera rolling. Novelists are the best letter writers I know - start a drawer to keep your correspondence with friends as well as with potential agents, editors, and agents. Dancers teach yoga, sculptors make jewelry for their hair and for their friends. And write. We can all write.
Remember, there are always three things a creative persun can do to stay healthy, regardless of whatever resources we have to create as we wish to at any given moment:
1) Think (imagine, plan)
2) Dream (attract, visualize), and
3) Write (diary, journal). Go thyself forth, and createth however you can, today!

Affirmation for Hard Times & Sad Feelings: I Am Worthy

When you're feeling great and things are going well, you have extra energy to motivate yourself to exercise, eat better, or take action towards your creative, financial, or professional goals. During those times, your motivation may be already inert, or very little extra may be needed, like, "I want to do, feel, or look better," or you may have so much inner energy and self-love to send some of the surplus outward with, "I want to help others." But, when you're really feeling down, and you have very little inner energy or self-love to do even the basics for yourself, you can *still* do better, with the affirmative statement and belief, "I am worthy." No matter how bad things are, or sad you're feeling, or low energy you have, with this thought, 'I am worthy," you can take the smallest steps to better health, emotions, and situations. Say, "I am worthy" to yourself, smile in the mirror, and start taking those small steps. Remember, life exists in cycles - it ebbs and flows for everyone, including Oprah Winfrey and Steve Jobs. But you are never too down to feel a little bit better and step a little further, and stand a little bit taller. You can do tiny things, and those tiny things become bigger, and before you know it, you have a lot more energy and things are a lot better than before. It all starts with reminding yourself of your inherent worthiness. Enjoy life, because that's what it's for, regardless of what stage it's in for you!

With high hopes for YOU,

(She Is Worthy :-)

Don't Hold Back Your Wisdom

"You're exactly where you need to be in order to begin this work, otherwise you wouldn't have the desire to do it." --Cassendre Xavier

Dear Friends, particularly other multi-media healing artists,

I trust you are well, I am thrilled again to be addressifyin' (aka "addressicatin'") thyself, and I will write very soon again with more muselettery. This here is something I just posted upon The Facebook and wished to share forthwith:

Do not for any reason hold back from sharing your wisdom. Many times we hold back because we're currently struggling, or we're not at a level of accomplishment we feel warrants giving advice. We may feel we're not walking our talk. But often, the work involves talking about it first, then doing it. Case in point, last night I posted that calling friends was a good way to feel better when you're down, but I hadn't called my friends, nor did I want to, because I was too busy feeling sad, angry and lazy. But once I hit "send" on that post, I felt a very strong need to do exactly as I'd written. I wasn't any happier nor more motivated, I just wanted to not be a complete hypocrite! So 45 minutes later I'd had conversations with friends, felt much less sad, was more valid as a healing artist, and had further bonded my relationships. Also, I felt that accomplishing my advised task set about an energetic chain of events that made my post even more true and helpful to others. Action was the final step of the magic through love and miracles which makes this work so worthy. So, this is one of the things I love about self-help writing: By using it to both assist others on their journey and keep me accountable to mine, it continues to heal my life, one article or project at a time. Remember: At any given time, you have everything you need to take the next step towards being a (more) successful multi-media healing artist, healer, teacher, and/or leader. Remember also that any self-help book you read or millionaire rapper's song you hear was probably created before the artist accomplished everything they wrote about. To your health!

Social Habits of the Highly Sensitive...

Between my move and so much that was happening in my life, and the technical difficulties that made the following article's hyperlinks not accurate, I didn't mention the latest posting of my monthly column at Wisdom Magazine's online edition. Since I'll likely soon have August's posted, I thought I'd take the time now to share July's:

Social Habits of the Highly Sensitive Lightworker: 9 Tips for Self-Care by Cassendre Xavier
(July 2013)

As much as music is my primary gift, writing certainly is as close to my heart and almost as much of my medicine as music is, and I'm grateful to have found Wisdom Magazine as an outlet to my favorite kind of writing: personal growth, self-help, spirituality, and inspiration.

I hope you enjoy this new article, and if you do and you'd like to, you can read my Wisdom Magazine archives (going back to 2009) at or

Thank you as always for continually supporting my art/work, and therefore, life,
