Trusting Divine Guidance

Never doubt divine guidance.

Yesterday I "sold" two (2) of my e-books for the very first time! I was ecstatic, as this was a very longtime dream come true. How much did I make? Nothing. The books were FREE (and they still are).

I was called to give away most of my pre-existing writing and music in digital download format.

When I processed the e-book sales, I felt really happy and rich - putting me in the zone I need to be on to WoManifest more of that good stuff.

I've had my e-book "Expanding Your Capacity for Joy" for sale for over a year, and it sells in print format in several walk-in outlets (www.ArnoldsWay.com, www.EsseneMarket.com, www.GiovannisRoom.com), but I'd sold not a single e-book.

When I got the spiritual feeling to just give them away, I doubted, I questioned, and I resisted. After all, I "need" the money, I'm a hard worker, I love to write and have received good reviews for my writing. "Why should I give away my work for free?" I rebelliously asked God and my Guiding Angels. They didn't answer anything but "Trust us." (And I'm pretty sure at least one smart alec one said, "We don't have to tell you that. It's not our job!")

So, I figured, well, it couldn't get any worse. It's not like giving my writing away will actually take money from me. It's just sitting there in my email - these PDFs, not being read, enjoyed, or used by anyone. Maybe Spirit just wants them to be out in the world. Maybe that's how I will generate more interest in and sales of my work. Who knows? The models of success in business have changed for the publishing and recording industries. This is a whole new ballgame, folks.

I think we're seeing a whole new wave of everything, from how to shop, eat, live, love, and work as artists. No more is the model of making work and hoarding it until you find some greater source to manufacture and promote it for you. Now, the model is to make it, give it away for free, and let the world be your audience. Now spirit and you are the Source.

It's all about spirit now. In truth, it always ways, but people are getting to the truth of that now.
Now we know the importance of giving and being truthful about who we are.
Now is the time to trust that if we focus on being loving, authentic, and in service, our needs will be provided. I'm finally prepared to try that for myself.
And I've begun by sharing my writing for free.
And I genuinely trust and believe that everything will be okay. I am creating my work right now, today, by giving it away.

I now know that I was led by Spirit to give away my e-books because people would "buy" them very soon, and then I could have the experience of processing those sales. I would feel good, I would be affirmed for my work, and know that it was helping people.
Those feelings would lead me to do more work that will grow my career as a gainfully employed and successful musician and writer.
And it may have taken many more months more to get those feelings, if I had continued trying to sell my e-book "Expanding Your Capacity for Joy". As it is, I get to have thoughts like, "It's all energy anyway, and I'm giving energy that is sure to return to me. I have faith. I am provided for. I am joyful. I am working as a writer. My writing is being used and appreciated. I feel successful!"

So, if there are any writers, musicians, artists, or creators out there - particularly if you're in the healing arts in any way, and you would like to make a living doing what you love. Please listen to your heart. Be willing to be guided by your inner signals and messages from spirit, God, your angels, or whatever you believe. If they say go left, go left. If they say give away your work, give it away.
No business school course or instructor has a fraction of the amount of wisdom your divine teachers do. Let spirit lead, and surrender to the way of your success!
